An innovative and client-focused insurance organization is seeking an Underwriting Training Manager to design and deliver impactful training for its high-net-worth underwriting team. This role is ideal for a seasoned underwriting professional with a passion for coaching, instructional design, and translating complex business needs into scalable learning solutions.
Prior experience in High Net Worth (HNW) underwriting or personal lines insurance is required.
This role is only open to candidates located in MA, CT, RI, NH, ME, or VT.
The Job:
Build and manage the underwriting training program covering onboarding, monthly training, CE, and cross-functional alignment with compliance and operations
Develop reusable curricula, training resources, and educational materials to support underwriter growth
Partner with leadership to ensure content aligns with evolving business processes and regulatory requirements
Facilitate training in multiple formats, including live instruction, webinars, written guides, and one-on-one coaching
Monitor program effectiveness, measure outcomes, and iterate quickly to improve learner engagement and knowledge retention
Deliver both virtual and in-person training, with periodic travel for cohort onboarding and strategic sessions
