Provides administrative and operational support to the underwriting team by preparing documentation, managing data entry, and facilitating the quote and policy process to ensure efficiency, compliance, and timely service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and process underwriting documentation accurately and in compliance with company guidelines.
Assistunderwriters by gathering required information and supporting documentation from brokers or clients.
• Perform data entry for policy and quote information into internal systems with attention to accuracy.
Monitorand track status of submissions and renewals to ensuretimelyfollow-up and completion.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries related to underwriting processes and documentation.
Maintainorganized records and files for all underwriting transactions and submissions.
• Collaborate with underwriting, operations, and customer service teams to resolve data or processing issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in underwriting support, insurance operations, or a similar administrative role.
• Familiarity with property and casualty insurance processes is preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

• Attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
• Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Basic knowledge of insurance concepts and underwriting terminology.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external partners.
