Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeResponsible for underwriting activities and P&L responsibility for products aimed at the corporate segment (i.e property, health, liability, worker's compensation, motor, personal accident & travel, employee compensation etc.) and managing UW relationship with intermediaries and business partners in the area of underwriting service delivery, product development and innovation.

• Underwriting Support professional responsible for reviewing applications, assessing risks, processing policy requests, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

The Opportunity:

To support underwriters in reviewing documents, processing applications, and determining acceptance or rejection based on company guidelines. Additionally, the role involves assisting with underwriting various products, triaging inquiries, preparing underwriting information, and ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.

Your New Role:

• Assist underwriters in underwriting various products and closing deals.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and guidelines.
• Regularly collect, compile, and analyse market information to share with the team.
• Support credit control in payment collection by coordinating with intermediaries.
• Track, report, and analyse the team's referrals, backlogs, and productivity.
• Be the digital ambassador of the team.
• Recommend and implement initiatives to streamline policies and processes.
• Provide interpretation and advice on policies, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate data in relevant systems and databases.
• Deliver business results by meeting operational KPIs and ensuring risk awareness and governance.

About You:

• Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Fresh graduates welcomed to apply.
• Good in English both written and spoken.
• Experience with underwriting and insurance coursework.
• Some underwriting experience in the insurance business, including relevant policy documentation handling.
• Secondary school certification.
