Your mission

Join us asaUnderwriter Team Leadtakinga key role in shaping performance and quality within our underwriting function.

In this role, you will coordinate a team of underwriters, ensuringhigh standardsin risk assessment, operational efficiency, and compliance, while contributing to process optimization and strengthening relationships with distribution partners.

What will you do?

• Coordinate and manage the underwriting team, monitoringworkload, havingaccountability for day‑to‑dayoperational stability vs. transformation delivery,

• settingperformanceobjectives, andensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

• Play an orchestration role, ensuring that UW requirements are translated into implementablesolutions,IT and Product decisions are understood in operational UW terms.

• Ensure high-quality risk assessment processes, providing guidance and validation for underwriting decisions, including complex and high-risk cases.

• Act asescalationpoint for complex applications, offering technicalexpertiseand continuous support to the team in decision-making.

• Drive process improvements and system enhancements, proposing updates toworkflowsand contributing to the implementation of modern underwriting systems and applications.

• Support team development, mentoring underwriters to strengthen their technical skills, decision-making capabilities, and overall performance.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers and agents, to support efficient underwriting processes and achievement of productionobjectives

Whatwillyoubring?

• Experience:Several years of experience in underwriting, preferably within life and/or health insurance.

• TechnicalexpertiseSolid understanding of insurance products, risk assessment methodologies, regulatory requirements, and underwriting systems.

• Analytical mindset:Ability to assess complex cases, interpret data, and make sound, well-informed decisions.

• Communication skills:Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with brokers, agents, and internal stakeholders.

• Leadership:Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team to deliver strong performanceresults.

• Youleverageyour curiosity and automation tools (including AI) to turn change into value and continuously improve how we work.

The monthly salary range for the role is between 11,876 and 16,962RONgross. The salary rangeshowcasedis only indicative. The final benefits package will be agreed upon during final negotiations with each candidate, by considering different criteria, such as the experience and skills level. Therefore, the finally agreed salary will stay confidential, as perthe applicablelawand we reserve the right to apply adjustments to the offer at any time during the hiring process.
