You can look forward to

• 
  Starting with a structured onboarding programme and gradually taking on responsibility for managing the placement process – from business origination and pricing through to final underwriting decisions
• 
  Reviewing and assessing enquiries for structured reinsurance solutions, developing tailored concepts and conducting negotiations with clients
• 
  Managing and renewing existing reinsurance contracts, as well as planning, monitoring and coordinating business data in line with defined quality standards
• 
  Preparing actuarially sound analyses and projections to ensure and actively manage the profitability of reinsurance contracts
• 
  Maintaining existing business relationships and supporting the development of new partnerships, including regular in-person meetings in Hannover and worldwide
• 
  Working closely with our (international) colleagues in Underwriting, Actuarial, Accounting and Natural Catastrophe Modelling

You come equipped with

• 
  A completed Master’s degree in Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Physics or a comparable field with a strong economic focus
• 
  Initial practical experience in the insurance or financial services sector, for example through internships or working student roles
• 
  Confident use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• 
  Proficient user skills in Spanish and English, along with conversational German
• 
  Willingness to travel internationally (approximately five to six trips per year)
• 
  A solution-oriented approach, combined with strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills
