About the Role
Swiss Re is looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking L&H underwriter to join the Middle East team based in Bratislava. In addition to more traditional underwriting activities, such as case assessment, training, and audits, we are seeking someone who has affinity working with clients, supporting them clients both operationally and strategically.
In this position, you will be responsible for the assessment of medical, financial, and special risks for all range of Life and Health covers. You will work closely with clients to provide underwriting expertise, share best practices, and contribute to the development and enhancement of underwriting frameworks and processes.
The role will work together with a wider Middle East dedicated cross functional team on product and process innovation, and how Swiss Re can utilise expert underwriting knowledge to achieve a more systematic impact. About the Team
Swiss Re Life and Health (L&H) UW and Claims forms part of the Swiss Re L&H Market Unit function which is responsible for driving growth opportunity and managing the in-force business and the related operations.
As well as being a core element of the wider Continental Europe UW and Claims team, you will work closely with the whole Central Europe cross functional team to ensure we provide a premium service to our clients in the region.
About You
For Slovakia, the base salary range for this position is between 2 200 EUR and 3 700 EUR (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
