We are seeking a Underground Remote Engineering Specialist to support Orica's global underground mining operations through the delivery of high-quality drill and blast engineering services. This role is part of Orica's growing Remote Engineering & Design Services capability and provides a unique opportunity to apply underground mining expertise while working from a central engineering hub in Hyderabad.
Reporting to the Underground Remote Engineering Specialist , you will work closely with underground mining operations, technical services teams, global subject matter experts, and WebGen™ specialists across multiple regions. You will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and optimizing underground drill and blast designs, supporting loading package development, analysing blast performance, and delivering technical recommendations that drive safe and successful blasting outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity for underground mining professionals who want to remain highly technical while gaining exposure to global operations. Instead of being permanently based at a mine site, you will support multiple underground metal mining operations around the world, working alongside industry-leading experts and helping shape the future of remote mining engineering services.
