Role Details

• Location: Various projects across Australia
• Roster: 7/7 (rotating days and nights) OR 14/14 (days and nights)

About the Role

You’ll carry out scheduled and breakdown maintenance, repairs, servicing and diagnostics on various underground equipment across our Project. You’ll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a large fleet of Underground Mining Equipment
• Diagnose faults and perform mechanical repairs
• Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures
• Be proactive with specific role requirements relating to the mining cycle, ensuring minimal operational downtime
• Provide clear and effective communication
• Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values
• Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience working as a HD Fitter in underground mining
• Strong knowledge of a range of heavy earthmoving equipment and underground ancillary plant
• Australian recognised Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Automotive Air Conditioning license (Desirable)
• Strong safety focus and ability to speak up
• A team mindset and reliable work ethic
• Commitment to contributing to a positive culture
• Valid manual (C class) Australian drivers licence (Essential)
• Working at Heights, EWP, IT and First Aid Certificate (Highly desired)
