About the role

As an Underground Dump Truck Operator at Ernest Henry, you will play a critical role in supporting safe and efficient underground production.

Working within the production team, you will be responsible for operating underground dump trucks to transport ore and waste, ensuring haulage targets are achieved while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

This is a hands-on, site-based role that requires a safety-first mindset, teamwork and the ability to perform consistently in a dynamic underground environment.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

• Leading with safety, applying health, safety and legislative standards in all tasks and decisions
• Safely operating underground dump trucks to transport ore and waste
• Supporting production targets through efficient haulage operations
• Maintaining effective communication with supervisors and team members
• Assisting with other underground tasks as required
• Identifying and reporting hazards or operational issues
• Contributing to a positive safety culture and continuous improvement

About you

You are a reliable and safety-focused operator who takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality work in an underground environment.

You are comfortable working within a team, follow direction well and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and site standards.

You will have

• Current manual driver’s licence
• Previous underground or operating experience (desirable)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work a rotating roster (days and nights)
• Willingness to learn and take on additional tasks as required
