The Unanet Senior Developer (Government Services) is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting solutions within the firm’s Unanet ERP (GovCon) environment to enable compliant project delivery, billing, and financial operations. This role serves as a technical analyst and advisor on Unanet functionality, data structures, integrations, reporting, and security, with emphasis on government contracting requirements. The developer partners with Finance, Contracts/Operations, HR, and IT to deliver enhancements, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain stable, reliable operations.
Job Duties:
• Administers and supports day-to-day operation of the Unanet GovCon ERP platform to include configuration, environments, access/security, monitoring, and operational readiness
• Designs, develops, configures, and enhances Unanet functionality to support GovCon business processes (project lifecycle, labor capture, expense, approvals, billing, revenue recognition support, and close)
• Develops and supports billing solutions aligned to contract types and customer requirements (e.g., T&M, FFP, cost-reimbursable), including invoice formats, supporting schedules, and billing controls
• Builds and maintains integrations between Unanet and related systems used in Government Services (e.g., payroll, timekeeping inputs/feeds if applicable, vendor/AP, banking, identity management, data warehouse/BI, document repositories) using approved methods such as APIs, flat files, SFTP and, middleware
• Develops, maintains, and optimizes GovCon reporting and analytics (project performance, labor, billing, indirects, backlog, AR, compliance/audit support), including data validation and reconciliation support
• Provides Level IV support for production issues, defects, and escalations; performs root-cause analysis across configuration, integrations, data, and process
• Partners with Government Services stakeholders (Finance, Contracts, Project Management, and Operations) to capture requirements and translate them into implementable Unanet solutions
• Facilitates requirement/design sessions to define scope, controls, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and deployment approach
• Ensures solutions are audit-supportable by maintaining documentation for configurations, integrations, control points, and key report logic as required
• Coaches Application Support team members on Unanet best practices, troubleshooting methods, and sound configuration/development decisions
• Devises strategic solutions to resolve issues while keeping the system operational, minimizing downstream impacts to billing, payroll interfaces, month-end close, and reporting
• Manages multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, balancing production support, enhancements, and release activities
• Acts as technical lead on large initiatives (solution design, peer review, testing strategy, deployment planning, and post-deploy validation)
• Coordinates with Unanet vendor/hosting/provider support as needed; participates in recurring operational/support meetings and escalations
• Provides accurate workload estimates, timelines, and risk/impact assessments; communicates tradeoffs and interdependencies
• Supports release/change management (documentation, QA/UAT coordination, cutover planning, validation, and rollback planning)
• Participates in weekly support meetings with hosting providers
• Participates in design meetings as appropriate
• Serves as secondary support for after-hours response as needed

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, preferred
Experience:
• Seven (7) or more years of experience with enhancements and support of Unanet and/or other tier-1 ERP platforms in a production environment, required
• Seven (7) or more years of experience in ERP technical development and data analysis, including strong SQL skills (e.g., SQL Server and/or Oracle database environments), required
• Five (5) or more years of experience serving as a technical lead on large projects, required
• Five (5) or more years of experience designing and supporting ERP integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and/or file-based interfaces (SFTP, flat files), required
• Experience building and supporting Unanet integrations, including interface mapping, error handling, reconciliation controls, and audit-supportable logging, preferred
• Experience supporting GovCon business processes within an ERP (project setup, timekeeping/labor, expense, billing, AR, and indirects), preferred
• Experience with Oracle ERP technologies such as Oracle Integration Cloud, VBCS, and FBDI, preferred
License/Certifications:
• Basic certification in AWS, Azure, or OCI, preferred
• Unanet training/certification (as available/role-appropriate), preferred
Software:
• Experience with Unanet (GovCon) ERP (configuration/support; development and integrations as applicable), required
• Experience with SQL, required
• Experience with reporting/extract tools used to support Unanet reporting and operational extracts (e.g., Unanet reporting, BI tools as applicable), required
• Experience with BI Publisher, HCM Data Extracts, and Fast Formulas, preferred
• Advanced knowledge of database optimization efforts such as indexing strategies, execution plans, statistics, and other related experience, preferred

• Ability to consistently produce clean coding and adhere to appropriate documentation standards
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM business processes and underlying Tables
Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range: $120,000 - $145,000
Maryland Range: $120,000 - $145,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $120,000 - $145,000
