Job Description

Background:

UN Women, grounded in the vision of equality enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; the empowerment of women; and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security.

Within the framework of the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF), UN Women Yemen Country Office is implementing a capacity-building component aimed at strengthening the institutional and programmatic capacities of women‑led civil society organizations (CSOs). Previous structured and informal capacity needs assessments have identified gaps in results-based management, project design and management, and monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, which limit CSOs’ effectiveness and sustainability.

In this context, UN Women seeks to engage a qualified consultant to design and deliver an online capacity-building training, targeting partner CSOs. The training will focus on Results-Based Management (RBM), Project Design & Management, and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and will be aligned with UN Women and UN system standards.

The consultant will report to the Programme Analyst, WPSH and will be supported by the programme team.
