fusionSpan is a multinational IT services firm headquartered in Rockville, MD. We deliver enterprise application development, system integrations, and Salesforce implementations to clients across industries.

We are building our pipeline of graduating seniors from the University of Maryland Spring CS Career Fair.

This is an entry-level software engineering role designed for graduating seniors or recent graduates interested in building enterprise-scale applications.

You will work with experienced developers on client-facing software projects and gain exposure to:

• Java-based application development

• Web services (REST/SOAP)

• Database-driven applications

• ETL and system integrations

• Salesforce implementations

• AI/LLM-enabled enterprise solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom software applications

• Build and consume APIs

• Write and optimize SQL queries

• Contribute to system integrations

• Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (graduating senior or recent graduate)

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming

• Experience with Java or similar language

• Familiarity with SQL and databases

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is between $50,000 to $80,000. Salary range will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
