Job Qualifications:

• An umbilical Engineer will hold an honours degree in Mechanical or Civil or Structural or Subsea Engineering from University. The degree must contain a thorough grounding in the theory and techniques of structural engineering.
• Min 10 years working experience in area production facility (subsea) in umbilical engineering, construction and Installation, the experience gained shall be in a similar role and the candidate shall have a strong construction engineering background and have demonstrable yard leadership skills.
• Considerable experience of relevant Umbilical design or installation experience.
• Familiarity with and experience of applying Umbilical codes and relevant standards of practice.
• Experience in use of FE software such as Orcaflex, Abaqus and Ansys
• Experience of relative design methodologies, construction activities, installation activities and associated analysis
