Ultrasound Vascular Technologist (Part-Time)
Location: Ball Memorial Hospital
This part-time position is scheduled for approximately 32 hours per week, with hours that may vary based on departmental needs. The typical schedule is 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Candidates are expected be available to work holidays, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed On-call coverage includes:
Provides diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound to generate non-invasive images of the vascular system. Possesses knowledge of vascular anatomy and physiology. Evaluates images for diagnostic quality and makes necessary adjustments to capture the best possible images. Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information. Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients correctly, and adjusting equipment as needed. Complies with vascular imaging protocols per accreditation guidelines. Provides intraoperative ultrasound as requested.
