RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates Ultrasound equipment in order to produce high quality, diagnostic images and guided diagnostic and therapeutic invasive procedures to aid in patient diagnosis. Assumes responsibilities for the operation of the department in the absence of senior personnel. Supports and maintains the University Health protocols, values, and mission, to include excellent customer service initiatives.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Registry from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Ultrasound (R.T.-S.) or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and hold current Certified BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) from the American Heart Association is required. Must meet clinical ladder criteria
