In addition to performing ultrasounds, you will interact with patients to explain procedures, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed. $15,000 Sign-on Bonus

Hiring for: Full-time & Part-time

Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and standards.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment effectively and safely during imaging procedures.
  • Conduct patient assessments and history-taking to ensure proper examination technique.
  • Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to discuss findings and patient care.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of procedures, patient data, and imaging results in medical records.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Assists radiologists and qualified providers with special procedures (biopsies, aspiration, etc.).
  • Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job.
  • Willingness to adapt to changes in workload, procedures, and schedule.
  • Additional duties assigned.

Requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic health science program or School of Ultrasonography; and registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or be registry eligible.
  • Prefer prior sonographer experience.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in performing a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular exams.
  • Strong communication skills to interact compassionately with patients and medical staff.
  • Ability to operate ultrasound machines and technology effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong observational and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Required to be current in BLS (Basic Life Support) by the standards of the American Heart Association.
  • Required to show proof of having completed Mandatory Reporter course at the time of hire or attend within 6 months of start date.
  • Must adhere to all training requirements as mandated by Federal, State, and Professional licensure and regulatory standards.
