You will join the EY’s Salesforce team within Technology Consulting, working closely with communities of technology focussed professionals who work together to deliver business-led outcomes, sharing modern engineering enablement and smart automation to optimise delivery and speed to value. These teams have deep functional knowledge and experience across our client’s core business functions, combined with deep technical skills to lead and deliver business outcome led high quality client solutions. Our teams are client focused, providing functional advice combined with technology enablement, one team, one dialogue, driving change and outcomes.

With the continued investment in Data Cloud, Agentforce and AI-powered customer engagement, this Director role will play a key role in helping clients define and execute their AI and data transformation agendas. This includes shaping enterprise AI adoption strategies, delivering intelligent agent and automation solutions, establishing trusted data foundations, and leading complex data migration and modernisation programmes that unlock business value across sales, service, marketing and operations. Your key responsibilities

Market / Client Centricity Your role will be to focus on EY’s clients across all sectors to drive opportunities, relationships and profitable revenue from EY’s Salesforce-led digital transformation service propositions. You will work to develop your own network and relationships at the client, understand their issues and, from that, develop service line solutions and drive incremental profitable revenue. You will work closely with Lead Partners, Sector Leads, other Business Development leads and your network at Salesforce itself.

Your responsibilities include:

• Lead client conversations around Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, Einstein AI and emerging AI capabilities, translating business objectives into practical transformation roadmaps.
• Originate and drive AI, data and customer intelligence opportunities across EY clients.
• Build C-suite relationships around AI adoption, responsible AI, customer data strategy and intelligent automation.
• Collaborate with Salesforce and EY alliance teams to develop go-to-market propositions focused on Agentforce, Data Cloud and AI-enabled transformation.
• Identify opportunities to modernise legacy customer platforms through data migration, data harmonisation and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Act as a market-facing thought leader on Salesforce AI, Agentforce and Data Cloud, representing EY at client events and industry forums.
• Contribute to the development of EY's Salesforce AI, Data and Customer Transformation offerings, assets and methodologies.
• Identify emerging Salesforce product capabilities and market trends, translating these into new service propositions and revenue opportunities.
• Identify and gather information on new client and sector issues through meetings and share this effectively within Salesforce and Tech Consulting.
• Facilitate expansion of points of contact between EY and the client. Create, maintain and drive the execution of the relationship map and plan to develop many to many contacts.
• Personally lead development of those relationships where EY has no existing relationship, introducing and supporting connections for specialists to then win work
• Develop peer relationships with client senior management, and together with the Salesforce Lead Partner, build Board and ExCo level connection
• Co-ordinate client relationship events and ensure return on investment is measured through deepened relationships and increased opportunity for EY to work with the client.
• Lead the bidding, winning and delivering of customer and digital transformation engagements of significant size and scope.
• Focus on current issues to ensure that relevant time sensitive solutions and ideas are communicated to clients using internal network to identify EY’s angle and develop a proposition to take to the client
• Identify white space at the client/sector and individuals to target. Lead on developing and driving plans
• Actively seek opportunities to add more value to the client, through cross-functional solutions, engagement Delivery Work with the client to shape and develop their transformation roadmap and change portfolio on the Salesforce and other emerging platforms.
• Lead the shaping of business cases, investment decisions and executive-level transformation roadmaps for AI, data and customer experience programmes.
• Define and deliver plans for Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce and AI-enabled transformation programmes. Ensure that customer and digital transformation projects (or their workstreams within a large engagement) are effectively scoped, managed and delivered on time, to budget and within EY’s agreed risk frameworks.
• Lead the definition of enterprise customer data strategies, including data governance, data quality and operating model considerations.
• Oversee large-scale data migration and integration initiatives, ensuring delivery of trusted, scalable and compliant customer data platforms.
• Guide clients in establishing responsible AI governance, operating models, adoption frameworks and value-realisation metrics aligned to regulatory and organisational requirements.
• Ensure AI and analytics use cases are aligned to measurable business outcomes, customer experience improvements and operational efficiency objectives.
• People Leadership Line management of Senior Managers and Managers within the team, coaching, guiding and helping them grow to their full potential.
• Focus on own development.
• Continuous meaningful career development and performance review conversation with direct reports
• Lead, manage and maximise the performance of project teams when acting as the Engagement/Delivery Lead.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Significant experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation programmes leveraging Salesforce, including experience across Data Cloud, AI-enabled customer engagement, intelligent automation and broader ecosystem technologies.
• Experience shaping and delivering data-led transformation programmes, including customer data platforms, data governance and data modernisation initiatives.
• Experience developing AI adoption strategies and delivering AI-enabled business solutions within large enterprises.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein AI, Data Cloud and the role of trusted data foundations in successful AI transformation.
• Experience overseeing complex data migration, integration or customer data consolidation programmes.
• Ability to articulate the business value, risks and governance considerations associated with AI adoption to executive stakeholders.
• Experience developing business cases and value realisation frameworks for AI, analytics and customer intelligence investments.
• Articulate the value of Salesforce and emerging technologies in business to a non-technical audience in a clear and compelling fashion.
• Strong understanding of the application of agile methodology in both product development and organizational structure.
• Creative problem solving ability, inquisitive mind-set, comfortable with working in ambiguous situations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent commercial awareness.
• Ability to rapidly identify issues and propose solutions.
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
• Ability to deliver high quality assignments under time pressure.

Ideally, you also will have:

• Experience delivering Salesforce Data Cloud implementations at enterprise scale.
• Experience with large-scale CRM and customer data migration programmes
• Experience defining and delivering enterprise AI, customer data or customer intelligence strategies.
• Experience working with hyperscaler AI ecosystems (Microsoft Azure OpenAI, AWS or Google Cloud) alongside Salesforce solutions.
• Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant (or equivalent experience)
• Salesforce AI Associate / AI Specialist certifications
• Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (desirable)
