Orthopaedics (Hip & Knee) | High-Growth, Leadership Opportunity

We are partnering with a rapidly growing UK-based orthopaedics business to appoint a National Sales Manager — a pivotal leadership role at a key stage of their expansion.

The Role

As National Sales Manager, you will take full responsibility for leading and developing the UK sales organisation, driving performance and building a high-performance culture.

You'll combine strategic leadership with hands-on field engagement, ensuring your team is supported, developed, and consistently delivering at a high level.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Developing and executing the UK commercial strategy aligned to wider business objectives

  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring a national sales team, embedding a high-performance, strengths-based culture

  • Spending time in the field to develop individuals and support revenue growth

  • Building strong relationships with surgeons, KOLs, and key healthcare stakeholders

  • Driving collaboration across sales, marketing, operations, and R&D

  • Leading product launches and ensuring best-in-class execution across the UK

  • Owning forecasting, performance tracking, and delivery against ambitious revenue targets

What We're Looking For


  • Proven experience in orthopaedic sales leadership, ideally within Hip & Knee

  • A strong track record of delivering and exceeding UK sales targets

  • Ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams in a field-based environment

  • Credibility in clinical and commercial conversations with surgeons and stakeholders

  • A hands-on leadership style — visible, engaged, and impactful in the field

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into execution

Package


  • Base salary: up to £90,000 (flexible for exceptional candidates)

  • Bonus: £32,000 (performance-based)

  • Car allowance: £7,000
