We are seeking a talented individual to join our Controllership team at Marsh. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The UK Controller – Risk Insurance Serivces (RIS) is responsible for a wide range of controllership activities for the RIS UK including the co-ordination and management of the month-end close as well as all project related activities, integration of acquisitions and the support of financial analysis to aid decision making. They ensure a strong control environment with the implementation, design and ongoing monitoring of all controls.
You will be supported by a small team of 4 direct reports and will be responsible for the preparation and management of all controller operations within RIS UK.
This is a leadership role that provides oversight of US and Local GAAP reporting, coupled with local statutory and regulatory reporting for the business area, covering all relevant Operating Companies and Holding Company structures. The role is responsible for ensuring that the company’s internal controls and financial compliance responsibilities are met.
