Your Mission
HMGICS serves as our core manufacturing testbed, focused on creating a cutting-edge, software-defined factory for the autonomous and flexible production of future mobility solutions. Within the Technology Innovation Group, we are responsible for deploying Digital Transformation (DX) technologies and methodologies for Software Defined Factory (SDF) implementation at HMGICS, Singapore.
This position is responsible for building user-centric product designs and validation processes for manufacturing DX applications, enhancing usability and user satisfaction through intuitive, data-driven interfaces and the continuous collection and incorporation of user feedback.
What To Expect
End-to-End UX Design for Manufacturing DX Applications
- Identify worker workflows, pain points, and mental models through user research, interviews, and on-site observation.
- Create user journey maps, task flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for manufacturing DX applications.
- Develop and refine UI mockups using tools such as Figma.
Design System and Component Library
- Build globally scalable design systems and component libraries aligned with Hyundai Motor Group's brand and SDF platform standards.
- Ensure design consistency across diverse manufacturing DX applications and global factory deployments.
Front-End Design and Prototyping
- Design production-ready UIs for scalable and robust manufacturing LCNC front-end applications.
- Document detailed interaction specifications, responsive layouts, and component-level designs.
- Manage front-end design language and component libraries in close alignment with component architecture.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of UI/UX design experience.
- Proficiency in using Figma (or Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.), including components, auto-layout, and prototyping features.
- Experience designing data-driven, dashboard-style interfaces for analytics, monitoring, and operational tools.
- Experience developing application front ends using application development platforms and LCNC tools.
- Experience designing applications for industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or IoT environments.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive/adaptive design for diverse manufacturing environments.
- Experience with AI-based design tools.
- Experience with UI/UX DevOps integrated with applications.
