Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic UX designer who will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our various digital assets. The ideal candidate will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimised for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images.

Requirements:

• 1 year of UX design experience for digital products or services.
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
• Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Figma, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision).
• A team player but can work independently too.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
