Position:

Position Details

You are responsible for designs that will be developed into prototypes and the products. Roles and responsibilities include developing and translating our ideas into user experiences and interfaces.

 You need to be creative, open-minded, and have strong communication skills. You will work closely with the Product Manager and Frontend Engineer to successfully go from early stage product concepts to launch. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative environment.

Basic daily flow

At the meeting with PDM, we will discuss the issues. We start creating the design based on the meeting.

We have several design review meeting within design team and then the design will be completed after design review meeting with the PDM. During this process, if necessary, we conduct user tests and discuss the results with the team and PDM to improve the design.

After finish the design, we will also conduct a design review to engineers.

For large projects, each team member creates draft proposals and holdan competition in design team.

And draft proposal may be reviewed by people from other departments. In addition to our daily work, we have constantly own activities which we all designer can do it together, e.g. workshop or knowledge sharing MTG.

- Understand user behavior, pain points and issues

- Clarify UI design and interaction

- Collaborate with Product managers and Visualize UX with wireframes

- Defining design systems

- Collaborate with other designers to keep consistency among products

- Constructing prototypes, and perform user research

Mandatory Qualifications

-5+ years of experience in UI/UX design orproduct design

- Experience in mobile application design

- Excellent communication skills

- Experience in usability test to verify the design

- Logical talk skill to explain the background story of deciding design

- Expertise in Figma (or other design tools) and wireframing / prototyping tools

- Experience of user test

- Business level of English / Japanese language

A strong portfolio is critical for this role, both in terms of demonstrating your experience and as an example of your ability to create a compelling design presentation. We’d like to see a diversity of projects and a solid collection of outcomes and deliverables (flows, mockups, and prototypes), with demonstrations of the design and thought process behind each project.
