Job Description

Hybrid position

Minimum requirements:

  • 4-7 years experience as a UI Designer
  • Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows and process flows
  • Strong visual design skills and proficiency in wireframing tools
  • Ability to effectively communicate your designs and sell your solutions to stakeholders
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Experience working in an Agile development process
  • Ability to work with a cross-functional team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver all visual design for our mobile apps and web interface, from concept, to prototyping, iteration of ideas, to contributing to outcomes for the development team
  • Establish, promote and maintain design guidelines, best practices and standards
  • Collaborate with the product manager and developers in your team to define and implement solutions for the product, focusing on visuals and usability
  • Conceptualise ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to processes that are often complex and interdependent
  • Create sketches, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, user flows and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Share designs to peers and stakeholders
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
