Job Title - UI Designer
Our client is building a modern cross-border payments and financial infrastructure platform (exchange, clearing, messaging, digital currency) for banks and financial institutions. We are looking for a part-time UI Designer to shape the look and feel of our web applications and internal tools.
Profile summary
* 5+ years of experience as a UI or product designer, working on web applications and dashboards
* Strong portfolio demonstrating clean, modern interfaces, preferably for B2B or data-heavy products
* Skilled in creating design systems, reusable components, and style guides
* Expert Figma user (components, auto-layout, variants, design tokens, prototyping, shared libraries)
* Proficiency with other modern design tools (Sketch, XD, or similar) is a plus
* Comfortable working with complex flows, tables, charts, and dense information layouts
* Good understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and responsive layouts
* Experience collaborating closely with product managers and front-end developers
* Ability to translate business and user requirements into clear, high-fidelity mockups and design specs
* Bonus: experience in fintech, trading, payments, or other professional tools for financial/operations teams
Engagement
* Part-time role (for example 2–3 days per week or equivalent), focusing on UI design, design system evolution, and supporting implementation with the front-end team
Languages and location
* Fluent English is a must (written and spoken)
* Location: strong preference for UAE, Dubai, with flexibility for remote candidates who are highly qualified
