UGG Sr. Manager, Product Engineering

COST MANAGEMENT

Brief assignments:

• To lead the Engineering Department to create, deploy and execute Engineering initiatives, processes and best practices to support UGG and Deckers' strategic priorities and objectives.
• Partner and align with department leads and Senior Management to align strategies to support the creation of the highest technical product in the marketplace while achieving brands KPI's in quality, delivery, margin and sustainability.
• Provide professional support and technical expertise as well as UGG brand specific knowledge to both US and Asia partners to support the brand's seasonal and long-term goals.
• Create and lead the management, execution and evolution of the Engineering function and Best Practices to ensure T1 approval and on-time RTB for production purchase order release and timely hand-off to Commercialization and Production teams.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to support and develop Deckers Supply Chain's cross brand competencies.
• Partners with leaders in US Development, Engineering, Design, Merchandising and UGG Asia departments both within and outside the Business Units to deploy strategies to support business objectives.

General requirements:

• 15+ years experience in the footwear industry with concentration in Development, Commercialization, Production or Quality Assurance; 10+ years experience managing staff
• Extensive knowledge of material applications for product use, product constructions and Development seasonal calendars and expected deliverables at key milestones.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills; Written and verbal Mandarin skills are preferred
