Job Description

The SBH U.C.H.C Radiology Registrar makes Customer Service a priority, treating customers (patients, visitors, and co-workers) in a professional manner exercising courtesy and tact. Effectively communicates with patients and others about Radiology services in their area(s) of expertise or responsibility and ensures that concerns, questions or issues reach the right person(s) in SBH in a timely fashion.

- Verifies patient's registration

- Verifies patient's insurance

- Assist with scheduling patients appointments with radiology procedures

They will also Work in a manner that supports the mission and vision of the SBH Health Healthcare System and performs in accordance with system-wide competencies and behaviors. Educate, and serve as resource to providers and to patients.

Qualifications

1. Education Required – High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Experience/Skills Required – Working knowledge of computers. Experience in Registration and Insurance verification.
