Job Description

Salary/Position Classification

  • 25.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability: No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefitted position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired into this position. The applicant will assist the Aviation Department at the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the team in Aviation related research including background reports and documentation of efforts.
  • Developing simulation models to design and test different use cases related to unmanned systems.
  • Support the team in programming, simulating, and analyzing data related to unmanned systems.

Required Competencies

  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Background in Aviation and/or UAS operations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Programming skills (Python and/or C++).
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and Data Visualization tools.
  • Successful completion of a Standard Criminal History Background Check
