JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Key Accountabilities:
Oversee daily operations and ensure the implementation of best practices in warehouse receiving, order preparation, and shipment planning and dispatch based on customer requirements.
Manage the primary inbound and outbound logistics processes.
Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery performance to meet customer expectations and service level agreements.
Monitor and ensure the effective preparation and storage of goods according to UL quality standards.
Optimize truck utilization during planning and ensure full volumes are serviced by a dedicated fleet.
Ensure third-party logistics (3PL) performance meets expected service levels in terms of lead-time, quality, and cost through regular calls and meetings to maintain supplier relationships.
Prepare and maintain accurate metrics, reports, and process documentation for management.
Collaborate with other departments to drive efficiency in logistics operations, including fleet and manpower planning.
Contribute to business development by analyzing logistical problems and proposing new solutions to streamline operations.
Supervise reverse logistics operations, ensuring all customers receive their credit notes within 24 hours of receipt.
Analyze hiring data for fleet and manpower, driving plans to reduce costs while maintaining service levels.
Lead and mentor the logistics team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Manage warehouse accuracy, ensuring physical and system stocks are reconciled and match 99.9% on a weekly basis.
Manage quarterly physical stock counts, including preparation before, during, and after the count.
Observe health and safety regulations with support from the safety team and lead the safety agenda for the entire team as per the planned safety agenda.
Manage operations with Customer Development team by focusing on business priorities and ensuring all controls are followed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
BSc/BA in engineering, business administration, supply chain, or logistics management.
2+ Years Experience in a relevant position.
