Job Description

As UAE Commercial Card Product Manager, you will be the primary owner of Citi's commercial cards business in the UAE — one of Citi's Tier 1 markets — while also contributing to the broader MEA cards strategy. Reporting to the Middle East & Pakistan (MEP) Subcluster Payments Head, this is a high-impact, execution-focused role where your decisions will directly shape revenue performance, product development, client acquisition, and risk management across the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end commercial card product strategy, roadmap, and P&L for the UAE, with accountability for revenue growth, expense oversight, product governance, and compliance with Citi's risk and regulatory frameworks.
  • Drive regular product performance reviews using financial metrics, client utilization data, and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities, address underperformance, and inform roadmap priorities.
  • Lead the development and rollout of new commercial card capabilities, managing cross-functional delivery across Technology, Operations, and Product — while contributing UAE market expertise to broader MEA product initiatives.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers and the Commercial Cards Sales team to drive client origination, pipeline growth, and deal conversion — acting as the primary product authority in client engagements.
  • Work with Implementation teams to accelerate client ramp-up post-onboarding, and develop sales enablement materials and value propositions to support commercial outreach.
  • Define and track commercialization KPIs including pipeline growth, conversion rates, and spend ramp metrics.
  • Ensure robust management of product-level risks — credit, operational, regulatory, and reputational — maintaining adherence to Citi's control frameworks and serving as the point of accountability for audit, compliance, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Align cross-functional partners across Technology, Operations, Sales, Risk, Compliance, and Finance to execute the product roadmap, and represent UAE commercial cards in senior internal forums with clear performance updates and strategic recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted product advisor and escalation point on product-related matters.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in product management or payments demonstrated ownership of product P&L and delivery outcomes.
  • Proven experience in commercial cards or B2B payments, with strong understanding of card product economics, client lifecycle, and competitive dynamics in the MEA/UAE market.
  • Familiarity with digital payment innovations such as virtual cards, AP automation, integrated payables, or real-time payment connectivity.
  • Track record of executing with speed and discipline — translating strategy into concrete product milestones, client outcomes, and measurable revenue results.
  • Hands-on experience in new product development or capability rollout, including cross-functional coordination, business case development, and go-to-market execution.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities, structure client solutions, and partner effectively with Sales and Relationship Management teams.
  • Solid understanding of risk and control principles relevant to banking products, with experience managing regulatory and operational risk in product management contexts.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
