About the Role

Unilever Professional (UPro) is the B2B division of Home Care, serving professional cleaning sectors including hotels, restaurants, offices, commercial laundries, and other out-of-home (OOH) businesses. Since its launch in 2019, UPro has rapidly expanded to 44 markets and is on an ambitious growth journey toward becoming a €1 billion business by 2030.

As the U-Pro Trade & Business Development Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in driving commercial growth by leading trade marketing initiatives, developing new business opportunities, optimizing sales channels, and strengthening distributor partnerships. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable growth strategies and ensure excellent execution across the market.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Marketing

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategies across all sales channels, including distributors, cash & carry, e-commerce, direct sales, and public tenders.
  • Design and implement channel-specific growth plans aligned with the Route-to-Market (RTM) strategy.
  • Plan and manage annual trade marketing calendars, promotional campaigns, and incentive programs.
  • Lead sales activation initiatives for distributor sales teams and field organizations.
  • Manage annual trade marketing budgets and monitor spending through ERP systems.
  • Analyze trade investments, campaign performance, and identify opportunities for continuous growth.
  • Oversee stock tracking, demand forecasting, production planning, and Troia system processes.
  • Ensure strong in-market execution and continuously improve channel performance.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to maximize commercial effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Business Development

  • Identify new business, customer, and channel opportunities within the Out-of-Home (OOH) market.
  • Lead business development projects across key accounts, public tenders, and strategic commercial initiatives.
  • Develop and optimize Route-to-Market (RTM) strategies and channel structures.
  • Expand and strengthen the distributor network while improving partner performance.
  • Build strategic partnerships that support sustainable, long-term business growt

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Trade Marketing, Channel Development, or Business Development within FMCG or B2B industries.
  • Proven experience managing trade marketing campaigns, promotions, product launches, and Route-to-Market (RTM) initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of OOH channel dynamics, distributor management, and field execution.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, trade investment management, commercial planning, and performance analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and commercial planning tools, supported by strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, project management, and coordination skills.
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving and execution capabilities.
  • Fluent in both English and Turkish.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is considered an advantage.
