We are seeking an experienced Tyre & Wheel Alignment Technician to join our busy Newmarket Tyre Centre. This role suits someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well in a team, and values excellent customer service.

About the Role

As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for fitting and repairing tyres, carrying out wheel alignments, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You will also contribute to the overall success of the business through quality workmanship, strong communication, and proactive customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Fit, repair, and replace tyres on a wide range of vehicles
• Carry out accurate wheel alignments in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure all jobs are completed on time and to a high standard
• Operate customers’ vehicles in accordance with the NZ Road Code and company policies
• Maintain clear communication with Service Advisors and management to support customer expectations
• Provide technical advice to customers and colleagues when required
• Promote tyre centre products and services where appropriate
• Assist with stock control and ensure product availability
• Maintain reference materials for customer enquiries

Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, based in Newmarket.

About You

• Previous experience in tyre fitting & wheel alignment experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Team-focused with a professional attitude
• Customer-focused and reliable
• Full NZ driver licence preferred
