Job Description

Senior Software Engineer – TypeScript Backend Developer (AWS)
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using TypeScript and .NET.
  • Build and evolve microservices-based architectures.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Implement cloud-native solutions on AWS.
  • Participate in defining architectures, best practices, and development standards.
  • Manage deployments, automation, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality deliveries.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and incident resolution in production environments.
Required Skills
  • Strong experience in backend development with TypeScript.
  • Experience with C# and .NET Core Framework.
  • Experience designing and implementing microservices.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.
  • Experience working with EC2, RDS, and CloudWatch.
  • Development and integration of RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with version control and collaboration tools: Git, GitHub.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes using Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Experience in agile environments and enterprise software development.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with serverless architectures on AWS.
  • Knowledge of containers and orchestration.
  • Experience in observability and application monitoring.
  • Knowledge of cloud application security.
  • Experience designing scalable and highly available solutions.
  • Certifications related to AWS or cloud technologies.
Language
  • English Advanced 80-95%
Location
  • Mexico or Bogotá and surrounding areas (hybrid) / Remote in the rest of Colombia.
