Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the regulated exchange business.
• Lead license application projects. Responsible for whole work related to the license application including but not limited to policy and procedure development.
• Coordinate external resources such as lawyers, consultants, auditors, independent assessor, etc.
• Manage the department of institutional account management and business development.
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external business partners, e.g liquidity providers, customer stakeholder.
• Ensure the business follows the SFC regulation.
• Engage with external auditors and regulators as the business line responsible officer.
• Collaborate with internal product and technology teams to ensure business requirements can be met.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelors degree of relevant field.
• Above 5 years of industry experience with at least 2 years of management experience. Previous work experience at digital asset exchange platform or trading is a must.
• Available with 1/7 type license. Familiar with the SFC regulations for type 1/7 licensed virtual asset trading platforms.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of digital asset exchange business.
• Strong understand of the institutional business environment and industry landscape.
• Passion to operate a regulated digital assets platform.
• Demonstrates a 'can do' attitude with a passion in the provision of excellent customer experience.
• Solid reputation and extensive network with the ability to connect to decision makers of institutional clients and business partners.
• Good team player, self-motivated, strong sense of ethics, responsibility, and discipline with good interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin language skills required.
