Twilight Registered Veterinary Nurse (12:00 – 00:00) Vets for Pets Colchester Referral & 24/7 ECC Hospital

Salary: £34,000 – £37,000 per annum (40 hours per week) Rota: 4 days on / 5 days off rolling (other patterns considered)

We are expanding our 24/7 ECC team and looking for experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses to join our Twilight shift at our new purpose-built Referral & Emergency Hospital in Colchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN who enjoys a varied, challenging caseload in a modern multidisciplinary environment, while benefiting from strong work-life balance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care during the busy twilight period
  • Perform advanced procedures, medication rounds, monitoring and emergency support
  • Manage patient admissions and diagnostics with excellent handovers to day and night teams
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture

We’re looking for:

  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with strong ECC or inpatient care experience
  • Confident, proactive and compassionate team player
  • Excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced referral setting
