Job Description

The Twisting and Heatset supervisor leads the department to achieve high-quality results with efficient processes and productive employees.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Follow all Safety, Plant & Quality Guidelines
  • Maintain yarn amounts and prepare yarn for tufting with minimal waste
  • Package yarn and input data into computer
  • Ensure employees are well-trained and highly productive
  • Collaborate with colleagues regarding waste, maintenance, quality, etc.
  • Keep daily production records
  • Complete daily shift reports; verify and approve employee time
  • Encourage and maintain a safe working environment

Performance Expectations (if applicable):

  • Ability to distinguish colors and shades
  • Frequent lifting, standing, reaching, and bending are required throughout shift.

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Previous managerial experience in manufacturing or industry-related field preferred
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Sufficient technical knowledge of equipment

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work overtime.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
  • All accidents must be reported immediately.
