Responsibilities

The primary role for the position is to stack, band, and package material from machines in a timely and accurate manner. You will also be assisting operators with changeovers as well as performing multiple tasks throughout the day to ensure safe and quality production. This position requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a desire to perform the duties to the highest standard. Follows outlined instructions per the packaging diagram to assure product quality and proper packaging and skidding. Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

  • Stack, band, and package materials from production lines
  • Assist machine operators and support quality production
  • Follow safety protocols and customer standards
  • Read and understand production orders and materials
  • Operate banding tools and handle small parts
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to stand for 12-hour shifts and lift materials as needed
  • Good hand-eye coordination and basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure and follow written instructions
  • Must be able to identify, count, and label parts accurately and distinguish between part numbers and sizes
  • Good oral and written communication skills - including legible writing
  • Mechanical aptitude is helpful, but not required
  • Must be open to working any shift or rotation as needed
  • Strong work ethic, safety awareness, and attention to detail

Shift Schedule

  • 12-hour shift: 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Some shift rotation may be required based on production needs
