This position offices in-person, on campusAn Academic Tutor at Valor Christian High School supports students’ academic and spiritual growth by identifying learning gaps, delivering individualized and differentiated instruction, and using engaging strategies that build critical thinking, communication, collaboration and innovation. Tutors provide a respectful, nurturing environment that meets students’ intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs while building trusting one-on-one relationships. PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe same basic physical demands described here are the same for all employees to successfully perform the essential functions of their jobs. POSITION TYPE: A - Student-facing position. Traditional school calendar. August - May. This position offices in-person, on campus.HOURS PER WEEK: Part-Time, Non-Exempt. 15-25 hours per week. All tutoring sessions take place during Valor’s regular hours of operations (7:15 a.m. - 4:10 p.m. Mon-Fri).
