Job Details

Our Turnover Technician will:

• Assist the staff in preparation of the operating room prior to and during surgery.
• Assist in positioning and the preparation of patients for surgery, as directed. Including, but not limited to shaving and toileting patient.
• Set up IV’s and position lights, tables, suction machines, cautery and other medical equipment as directed.
• Share responsibility with EVS to clean the operating room and perioperative areas (Pre-Op, PACU, & OR). Strip and make beds, OR tables and stretchers. Dispose of all soiled materials and fluids. Empty trash and linen. Clean surfaces, floors, lights and all equipment including anesthesia machines in the perioperative areas.
• Take inventory of supplies and maintain adequate stock levels. Obtain and transport equipment and supplies to rooms as required.
• Transport patients, supplies, equipment and specimens as directed.
• Attend codes and/or emergencies in all perioperative areas.
• Maintain established departmental/hospital policies and procedures for quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection control.

What you'll bring:

• Prior experience working in an Operating Room setting preferred
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required
• Required Certifications:

Salary Range

USD $27.52 - USD $27.52 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
