Due to the growth of our HVDC business, we are looking for a self-motivated Turnover & Completion Manager

Your Mission: The Turnover & Completion Manager is responsible for the administration, configuration, and oversight of the Project Information Management System (PIMS) with a focus on the Completion Management Module. You are managing the process from mechanical completion (MC) to commissioning and handover, covering punch lists, technical documentation, and compliance with health and safety (EHS) requirements.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities:

1. EHS

  • Ensure all completion activities are executed in compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements
  • Promote a strong safety culture throughout project execution, punch-list resolution, and handover activities

2. Completion Management System Setup

  • Set up and manage the Completion Management System (PIMS), databases, and reporting mechanisms and train project staff and contractor on the use of the system
  • Establish and maintain the project completion and closeout strategy, plans, milestones, and procedures
  • Define the structure of the CMS by breaking down the structure in systems, subsystems, meachnical completion packages and commissioning packages according to handover requirements in alignment with project and contractual needs
  • Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to align completion objectives
  • Develop clear roles, responsibilities, and workflows for completion and handover activities
  • Ensure contractual closeout requirements, documentation expectations, and client turnover deliverables are clearly identified and managed

3. Quality

  • Ensure all deliverables meet required quality standards, specifications, and contractual requirements before handover
  • Coordinate inspection, testing, and verification activities to confirm systems, equipment, and documentation are complete and compliant
  • Manage punch-list and deficiency tracking to ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues
  • Work with quality, engineering, and commissioning teams to validate completion criteria
  • Verify that turnover dossiers, as-built documents, certificates, and quality records are complete and accurate
  • Support final acceptance processes by ensuring all quality requirements are satisfied


4. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor progress against project completion milestones, punch-list closure targets, and handover schedules
  • Track and report outstanding works, documentation status, risks, delays, and recovery actions
  • Provide regular completion dashboards, status reports, and management updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate completion review meetings with project teams, contractors, clients, and operations representatives
  • Support forecast updates for completion dates based on actual progress and issue resolution
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to post-project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, information systems, or a related field
  • Significant experience with completion management in major projects, preferably in Oil & Gas or Energy/ Renewables.
  • Strong knowledge of project lifecycle processes, documentation, and stakeholder coordination
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive issue resolution under tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
  • Proficiency with Completion Management Systems like PIMS or similar tools (e.g. Hexagon Smart Completions, Co-Console, ProCoSys, Aconex, ICAPS, WinPCS).
