Purpose of the role
To support Screening with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution, making decisions in line with comply with relevant regulatory and industry standards.

Step into the role of Tuning and List Management - Workstream Lead, you and your team will be expected to reconcile that all regulatory updates are correctly reflected into our screening engine, complete impact assessment of those updates, and take proactive measures to tune the bad volumes out before the list is made LIVE. Also, ensure that any request for addition/modification/deletion from Compliance or other Business units are actioned in agreed timelines. Any queries are raised immediately with respective requestors.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:
Prepare and review process metrics ensuring completeness, accuracy and timely delivery
Provide clear and concise communication of any findings/gaps to senior stakeholders
Work closely with Business change and tech teams on any on-going application migration. Also support any UAT/LCT to be conducted ensuring changes are implemented in line with expectations.
Build and maintain effective working relationships across Operations, Tech, Senior management etc.
Any exposure or knowledge of tools like SQL, Python, Tableau and hands on experience to applications like FMM, FML & FircoSoft Continuity would be an added advantage
Desirable skills set:
Strong understanding of derivative products across asset classes, including Rates, Equities, Structured and Exotic products.
Prior exposure to Middle Office Operations, Sales Support, or Product Control.
Experience driving automation and strategic change in complex operational environments.
Functional expertise in Managing Reconciliation out of Reconciliation Tools: Automated/Manual workflows.
Proven Track record in managing risk & governance through RCSA, Audit & Control framework.
Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to work independently and operate with a robust control focus
Experience producing reporting and communicating financial information to senior stakeholders
Ability to identify control and process gaps, escalate appropriately, and drive continuous improvement
Must have effective communication both verbally and written, with the ability to engage and inspire at all levels within the organisation and with internal and external stakeholders
Good understanding of Screening (customer, payments and adverse media) or AML and regulatory requirements
The role holder should have a good understanding of Sanctions database and how it can be managed effectively.
