Job Description

The Team Lead, Tube Park supports the daily operation of the Tube Park by providing on-shift leadership, operational oversight, and guest service support. Reporting to the Supervisor, Attractions, this role assists in coordinating team members, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and supporting a high-quality guest experience. The Team Lead works alongside frontline staff while serving as a point of contact for operational issues and team guidance.

What you will be doing:

Operational Oversight

  • Support daily setup and shutdown procedures for Tube Park operations
  • Monitor team deployment to ensure safe and efficient guest flow
  • Assist in managing lift lines and attraction areas
  • Respond to operational issues and escalate concerns to the Supervisor as required

Team Support and Leadership

  • Provide on-shift guidance and direction to Tube Park Team Members
  • Support onboarding and informal training of new staff
  • Model professionalism, safety awareness, and positive guest interaction
  • Communicate operational updates and expectations to the team

Guest Experience and Safety

  • Ensure all guests receive clear safety instructions and operational guidance
  • Monitor guest behavior to ensure compliance with safety procedures
  • Respond appropriately to incidents and support documentation as required
  • Maintain high standards of service in high-volume and fast-paced environments

Equipment and Area Management

  • Ensure safe setup and operation of Tube Park equipment
  • Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance concerns promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the attraction area

Health, Safety and Compliance

  • Adhere to all WinSport safety policies and procedures
  • Participate in safety briefings and review OH&S communications
  • Promote safe work practices among team members

What you bring:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

  • Previous experience in Tube Park, attractions, or guest service environment
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership or guidance to peers
  • Experience working in outdoor, high-volume environments

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of Tube Park operational procedures
  • Ability to manage group flow and respond calmly in busy situations
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

Technical and Functional Expertise

  • Frontline operational coordination
  • Peer leadership and shift support
  • Guest safety monitoring
  • Equipment handling and operational setup
  • Incident response support

Position Information

  • Part-time schedule: Availability to work during regular operating hours if required (Thursday & Friday evenings, all day Saturday & Sunday).
  • Flexibility for shifts during alternate hours is an asset (for private bookings)
  • Full availability during the December – January Holiday season is required.

You will be:

  • Standing for long periods
  • Outdoor work in all weather conditions (including harsh winter weather)
  • Some heavy lifting (40lbs), including repetitive bending, reaching, pushing, and moving equipment and groups of guests (in tubes)
  • Manual dexterity and computer use
