Work you’ll do:

• Technical Planning & Strategy: Lead pre-project planning (delivery approach, resource planning, and budget estimation) specifically tailored for modernizing enterprise .NET systems.
• Dependency & Risk Management: Plan, monitor, and mitigate technical delivery risks and dependencies across multiple cross-functional application teams.
• Design & Governance Compliance: Partner with Architects and Lead Developers to ensure the solution design aligns with enterprise principles, vulnerability assessment standards, and security controls during the .NET 8 upgrade.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration: Coordinate with business analysts, clients, and testing managers to drive functional alignment, verify SIT/UAT/performance testing, and deliver high-quality technical results.
• Implementation & Support: Oversee the end-to-end technical implementation plan to ensure seamless production cutovers and structured post-implementation support.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain standard project documentation and provide regular delivery status updates to senior leadership, proactively escalating schedule-impacting issues with proposed workarounds.

Requirements:

• You will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of enterprise-grade .NET applications, driving system modernization initiatives, and ensuring successful delivery using Agile methodologies.
• The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with 10+ years of software development experience, primarily in the Microsoft technology stack.
• Must have experience leading technical teams, providing technical direction, code reviews, mentoring developers, and driving engineering best practices.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 8.
• Proven experience delivering and supporting large-scale enterprise applications, with hands-on involvement in complex system upgrades, modernization, and migration projects to .NET 8.
• Strong technical expertise in backend development, including:
• ASP.NET Core
• RESTful APIs
• Microservices architecture
• Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core
• SQL Server
• Dependency Injection
• Experience designing and delivering solutions on cloud platforms (Azure preferred). Exposure to cloud-native applications and serverless architectures is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system integration, application performance optimization, troubleshooting, and issue resolution within enterprise environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with end-to-end software delivery responsibilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in leading application modernization initiatives and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
• An appreciation of the consulting environment and willingness to travel (locally and internationally) when required.
