Work you'll do:

This role is for B2B Field Marketing. The role is responsible for leading and delivering end-to-end local and regional marketing programs, including conferences, workshops, webinars, executive events and third-party engagements. This includes coordinating with external agencies and vendors to ensure smooth event logistics and on-ground execution.

Acting as the bridge between global, local marketing teams and the local sales organization, the role localizes global content and campaigns for the SEA markets (e.g. Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia or Thailand) to ensure alignment between marketing activities and sales objectives.

The role is also responsible for measuring and improving marketing performance. This involves managing campaign tagging, lead attribution, monitoring performance metrics in Salesforce, and developing reporting to measure marketing effectiveness. It supports lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention efforts across both enterprise and start-up segments, adapting to evolving business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Plan: Country-specific marketing plans to optimize digital, physical and hybrid events, including conferences, workshops, webinars, executive events, tradeshows, campaigns and third-party engagements.
  • Manage & Execute: Local and regional marketing events, including coordinating logistics with agencies and managing speaker outreach in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Increase Digital Awareness & Amplification: By engaging with CxOs to localize and promote global/regional marketing content and coordinate with social media teams.
  • Collaborate & Coordinate: Manage cross-team communication, stakeholder engagement, and travel logistics to support local event execution and ensure alignment between marketing and sales teams.
  • Track & Report: Manage lead uploads and campaign tagging in Salesforce, track marketing qualified leads and event performance, generate reports, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive pipeline growth.

Requirements:

  • Marketing Expertise: 4-6 years experience in B2B marketing or field marketing, with tech industry exposure and hands-on marketing experience is a must.
  • Event Management & Stakeholder Communication: Must be adept in managing a range of marketing activities with varied levels of capabilities, multiple stakeholders, as well as be an effective communicator in written and spoken form.
  • Data & Reporting: Solid experience in conceptualizing and driving marketing activities, as well as being very comfortable with data analysis and building reports in Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides.
  • Vendor Management: Required to evaluate and work with a spectrum of vendors, helping our internal marketing team make informed decisions.
  • Digital Marketing & Content Localization: Experience with digital marketing and content localization, including translation into local language and context.
  • Accountability & Integrity: Can drive accountability with strong self-motivated operational excellence and the highest levels of integrity and eye for details.
  • Adaptability: She/he will need to be a quick learner and able to work in fast paced environments.
  • Cultural Fit: She/he must live by Google Cloud’s values of respecting the opportunity, respecting the user and respecting each other consistently and without compromise.
