We are currently seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur.

Successful candidates will be offered Fixed Term Contract.

About the mission we offer you:

Perform drafting and PDMS or E3D modelling work for onshore /offshore projects and to fulfill Departmental needs and support engineering operation within the Company.

Main Accountabilities

DESIGN BASIS, CODE & STANDARD

• Understanding and applying knowledge of design codes, industries standard and practices such asASME, ASHREA,SMACNA etc. and Interpretation of the requirements to meet project requirement
• Competent to resolve problems /trouble shoot based on Codes & Standards interpretation
• Understand Codes limitation, apply with accuracy and effectiveness.
• Understanding of Client’s specification (e.g. PTS, DEP, GS, IP etc.) and provide service which meet contract requirements
• Able to do Duct sizing independently.
• Able to do calculation of air balancing

KNOWLEDGE OF SOFTWARE

• Able to operate Autocad 2017 and above
• Able to operate PDMS Aveva or E3D Modelling
• Able to operate Micro Station
• Able to operate SP3D Modelling

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• 3D modeling of piping, HVAC and equipment in AVEVA PDMS and SP3D.
• Preparation of drawings/documents for HVAC Flow Diagram, D&ID and equipment layout drawings using Microstation and/or AutoCAD.
• Generate quantity reports using AVEVA PDMS
• Assist with coordination of 3D model activities, i.e. Solve clush issue with others disciplines.
• Assists with plans and schedules and prepare/maintain design procedures, standards to provide quality design documents,
• Interface with others Discipline, design partners,for the purpose of model/space control, etc.,
• Perform coordination review of specifications and other documents prepared by others.

FABRICATION KNOWLEDGE

• Understand fabrication process

About you:

The Candidate shall possess a RECOGNISED Diploma in Mechanical or Equivalent. Possess at least minimum 4 years of engineering design experiences in HVAC or Static Equipment.

Additional Information:

Be willing to travel and stationed at various Engineering Operating Centers / Client Office on needs basis (for overseas assignment)
