What The Position is About:

• Review, interpret, and convert information from the Sales team into design software to create truss layouts and engineered drawings for residential, commercial, and agricultural builds
• Input precise and complete data and generate accurate shop orders
• Coordinate with Sales and customers to obtain approved designs, ensuring timely processing and release of work orders
• Collaborate with others to address and resolve design-related concerns
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments through effective communication
• Participate in scheduled design meetings to stay aligned with departmental updates and contribute to process improvements

The Right Candidate Will Have:

• 2+ years of experience with Alpine software and truss design
• Experience in roof, floor, and wall design for commercial and residential projects
• Lumber experience
• An understanding of Minnesota engineering and design regulations
