We are currently looking for a highly organized and dependable Safety Department Assistant to join our growing trucking company. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates professionally, and is able to manage multiple responsibilities with accuracy and attention to detail.
As part of our Safety Department, you will play an important role in supporting daily operations, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth communication between drivers, attorneys, courts, and internal departments.
Handling traffic violations, tickets, and fines
Communicating with drivers, attorneys, and courts
Managing Google Sheets and maintaining accurate records
Processing incoming and outgoing mail
Running errands to DMV, IRP offices, and company locations as needed
Assisting with additional office and administrative tasks
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Detail-oriented and reliable
Flexible and dependable
Good communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Must speak and write English fluently
Additional languages are considered a plus
