Job Overview:

The Used Vehicle Sales Executive is responsible for driving used commercial vehicle sales by identifying business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The successful incumbent will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and vehicle demonstrations through to financing arrangements, administration, and vehicle delivery. The role requires exceptional customer engagement and relationship management skills while ensuring compliance with company governance, integrity, anti-bribery, conflict of interest and SHEQ requirements. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement sales activities to achieve agreed sales targets and budget objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and prospective corporate and private customers within the allocated geographical area.
• Develop, grow and maintain an active customer database.
• Conduct regular customer visits, prospecting activities and lead generation initiatives.
• Deliver professional vehicle demonstrations aligned to customer requirements.
• Facilitate financial arrangements through collaboration with Finance & Insurance (F&I) Consultants.
• Ensure smooth vehicle handover processes and customer satisfaction upon delivery.
• Monitor and communicate potential transaction risks or delays to management.
• Complete and process sales-related documentation accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
• Manage trade-in documentation, registration certificates and supporting sales transaction records.
• Attend to walk-in customers and telephonic enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Resolve customer complaints and enquiries promptly while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
• Promote and uphold the company’s image, values and reputation at all times.
• Matric / Grade 12.
• Relevant 3-year Diploma or Degree will be advantageous.
• Valid Code 14 Driver's License.
• Professional Driving Permit (PDP)

Experience

• 3-5 years' experience as a Sales Executive within a Commercial Vehicle operation.
• Proven sales track record with retail experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Experience in customer relationship management and business development.
• Exposure to commercial vehicle sales and dealership environments
