Truck Spotting of Trucks and Trailers
Scope / Overview:
- The ability to move trucks and trucks/trailer combination vehicles to facilitate putting backhauls / returns into the door, unloading pallets and milk crates, breaking down center divides and bulkheads to accomplish getting box trucks and  To set up our equipment and drivers for successful delivery of products to our customers.
Training: Safety, GHS, proper use of chemicals per manufacturer’s recommendations.  SOPs, SSOPs, DOT requirements, ELD usage, etc.  As required.

Responsibilities and Duties Assigned:
- Ability to follow rules and procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices to accomplish the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas in manner to achieve the expected goals
- Using chemicals in accordance with manufacturer approved guidelines.
- Proper Lubrication of the Truck Wash Equipment and hoses
- The expectation is that when given parameters and goals that you will accomplish those tasks
- Currently a combination of 22 to 27 plus vehicles a day
- - This works out to an average of three per hour.
- To verify cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas.
- Put trucks in dock doors / take them out
- Fuel Equipment
- Keep Premises, Grounds, yard, and lot in a clean and safe working order – Nails and debris picked up, magnet yard.  Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
- Hook up and Drop Trailers – Make sure Dolly legs are all the way up.
- Facilitate equipment moves for sales, equipment moves, maintenance.
- Rescue Drivers as needed
- Proper precooling of equipment per FDA regulations.
- - CDL – take vehicles to various service providers, pick up equipment.
- - Rescue Drivers
- - Inspect equipment for necessary Maintenance
- - To report incidents of broken, damaged, or missing equipment.
- - Backhauls
- - Minor repairs, jump starts, reefer priming, lights, fuses, unsticking frozen brakes.
- - In addition:
- - Removal of pallets and milk crates from trucks and trailers
- - Stow bulkheads and center divides
- - trucks and trailers
- - Cleanliness of docks and dock pits
- - Moving vehicles with backhauls into the dock as required
- - Interior Building and warehouse cleanliness
- - Snow removal
- - Precooling of equipment
- - Verifying proper reefer setting
- - Fill in where needed in case of call offs / personnel on vacation
