Truck Inspector / SAP Data Clerk
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Checks in all tanker trucks and ensure accuracy in driver / facility paperwork prior to entering the chemical plant
• Verifies prior tanker truck contents and current weights for compatibility to enter the facility and be loaded
• Checks all valves, manways, seals and conducts pressure tests to ensure no signs of leaks or product
• Produces scale tickets for each tanker truck to gain access into the chemical plant
• Performs data entry regarding all tanker trucks status in the SAP computer system
• Communicates instructions to each tanker truck regarding destination within the plant and all procedures / policies that must be followed
• Completes all paperwork throughout daily activities, follows all operational and safety procedures
• Completes all housekeeping duties to ensure a safe work space
• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job
Job Qualifications:
• Prior experience utilizing SAP or any computer programs is preferred, but not required
• Prior experience working in a chemical plant, industrial or manufacturing work environment is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious at all times
• Must possess a valid Driver's License
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Stable work history with good references from past employers
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday Day Shift (Some weekends required)
