Truck Driver - Quad

Key Information:

• This position is for a 2 week call out on nights for our Golden, BC project.
• Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
• Health benefits, pension plan, and vacation pay offered.

Job Description:

• Carrying out pre and post trip vehicle and trailer inspections.
• Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
• Haul construction aggregates, gravel, frac sand, or fluids using end dump, belly dump, or specialized quad configurations.
• Making sure that the loads are correctly and safely distributed.
• Loading and unloading materials.
• Driving with quad trailer.
• Filling out Waybills.
• Driving to and from destinations.
• Safely maneuver heavy equipment on highways, rural routes, and rough off-road/job-site terrain.

Experience and Certification Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year experience with end, side dump, and/or belly dump required.
• Quad experience required.
• Valid Class 1 (or Class 3 with air brake endorsement, depending on the specific weight and provincial rules) driver's license.
• A clean commercial driver's abstract (5 years) is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.
• A reliable means of transportation is required.
• Proficient English language skills required.

Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
